DELLA M. GINN

SNOW HILL -- Mrs. Della Mae Marshburn Ginn, 78, passed away Thursday morning at Craven Regional Medical Center in New Bern.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Snow Hill Cemetery.
A native of Greene County, she was born March 20, 1930, the only child of Floyd Lee and Lucy Howell Marshburn. She was an avid homemaker, farmer and a member of Harrell's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Ginn resided in Greene County all of her life until declining health forced her to relocate to New Bern to be nearer her daughter.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ginn was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Ullmon Ginn, and a son, Ullmon Lee "Tootie" Ginn.
Her surviving family includes her daughter, Renea Ginn Welch and husband, Kim of New Bern; grandchildren, Tony Ginn of Florida, Michael Ginn of Spruce Pines, and Jake Welch of New Bern; and three great-grandchildren, Jase Ginn, Trev Ginn and Cale Ginn.
The family will receive friends at Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service on Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service.
Arrangements are being handled by Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service.
