Callie Cottle Williamson, 93, passed away Friday morning at home surrounded by her family.

A memorial service will be held at Monday at 11 a.m. at First Christian Church with Dr. Fred Clarke officiating.

Mrs. Williamson was born in Wayne County on March 25, 1915, to the late Chancy Brock and Ludie Mozingo Brock and was married to the late Fred Williamson. She was a member of First Christian Church, where she served in many capacities over the years. Mrs. Williamson was a retired nurse working in private duty most of her life.

Mrs. Williamson is survived by her daughters, Barbara C. Parker of Goldsboro and Linda C. McCoy and husband, Ken, of Goldsboro; her son, Jimmy Rose Bass of Atlanta, Ga.; her grandchildren, Jim Bass II, Bill Bass and Tonya Kitterman, all of Atlanta, Ga.; her nephews, Ray Faircloth and wife, Janis, of Goldsboro, Dwayne Fritzinger of Beaufort, and J. D. Fritzinger and wife, Mary, of Goldsboro; her nieces, Charlotte Faircloth Journigan and husband, Bobby, of Lake Gaston and Frances Barnes of Goldsboro and several other nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Christian Church, 1609 E. Ash Street, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Ken McCoy, 607 Tanglewood Lane, Goldsboro, and after the service in the church parlor.

Arrangements are being handled by Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
