DUNN -- William Robert Jackson, 78, of Dunn, died Thursday morning at his residence. He was born Dec. 9, 1929 in Cumberland County to the late William Hubbard and Bertie Bullock Jackson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Marie; three brothers and one sister. He is survived by three sons, one daughter, one brother, two sisters and five grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bethesda Friends Meeting with the Rev. Lee Lane officiating. Burial will follow in Bethesda Friends Meeting Cemetery.
