Dashon Darden, 111 Running Deer Circle, Lot 93, died Thursday at Duke Medical Center in Durham.
He was the son of Samantha Edmonds and Terrill Darden.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Old Mill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the residence and will assemble there in preparation for the funeral procession.
Arrangements are being handled by McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro.
