BEULAVILLE -- Gearld Lou Maddox died Saturday at Pitt Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Daisy Chapel Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Beulaville Cemetery.
A native of Duplin County, she was born Dec. 5, 1951, to Bertha Chasten Maddox of Beulaville and the late William H. Maddox.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Matthews Funeral Chapel.
