VIRGINIA A. ROSE

ROXBORO -- Virginia Alford Rose, 86, 233 Alleghany Drive, died Tuesday at her home.
The funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Brooks & White Chapel, with Elder Calvin Harward and Elder Kenneth Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in Burchwood Cemetery.
Born in Wayne County, Mrs. Rose was the daughter of the late William Jasper and Mary Elizabeth Tyner Alford.
She is survived by her husband, James H. Rose, and two sons.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Brooks & White Funeral Home.
