PIKEVILLE -- Billy Everette Pate, 64, 4648 N.C. Hwy 111 north, passed away Monday at home.
A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Pate-Jones Cemetery, Church of God Road in Goldsboro. Pastor Dale Belvin will officiate.
He is survived by his mother, Ethel Pate of Fremont; a son, Stacey Pate and his wife, Rhonda, of Pikeville; two daughters, Joy Pate of Pikeville and Debbie Pate of Wilmington; a brother, Gerald Pate and his wife, Barbara, of Pikeville; and two grandchildren, Damon and Josh Pate.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ulysses Pate.
Visitation will be held tonight (Wednesday) from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home, 102 N. Pine St. in Fremont.
