GREENVILLE -- John Horace Potter Jr., 52, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2008.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
John, a native of Wayne County, grew up in New Bern and attended Hargrave Military Academy. He made his home in Greenville for the past 15 years and had attended Pitt Community College.
John was preceded in death by his father, John Horace Potter and a sister, Sharon Potter. He is survived by his mother, Lucille Baker Potter.
