Jesse Franklin Richardson Jr., 79, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Shirley Acker Ward officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Mr. Richardson is survived by his wife, Peggy M. Richardson; one son, David Richardson; and two sisters, Evelyn Beaver and Johnnie Wheeler.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the Brogden United Methodist Church, 2918 US Hwy. 117, Dudley, N.C. 28333.
Family members will greet friends Sunday evening at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home from 7 until 8 p.m.
