Johnie Lee Whitfield, 82, died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. He was the son of the late Jim Whitfield and Ada Lofton. His wife, Nancy Whitfield, survives.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Sunday at the Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Elmwood Cemetery. Viewing will be 4-7 p.m. Saturday in the Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel, Goldsboro.
