EVERETTS -- Clyde Rogerson Williams, 94, died Saturday.

She was born in Martin County to the late Newbrie Rogerson and Alice Biggs Rogerson. She was a homemaker and member of Lifebuilders Church of God. On Feb. 23, 1927, Mrs. Williams married John Robert Williams who died on Jan. 28, 1975.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at 3:30 p.m. at Biggs Chapel with the Rev. Davin Phillips and the Rev. Gary Bateman officiating. Burial was held in Martin Memorial Gardens.

She is survived by sons, John Albert Williams and wife, Faye, of Robersonville, Charlie Mack Williams of Williamston, Clayton Earl Williams and wife, Edna, of Black Creek, Allen Wayne Williams and wife, Brenda, of Goldsboro, George Robert Williams of Goldsboro; daughter-in-law, Sybil Williams of Bear Grass; sisters, Lillian Persinger of Virginia Beach; Lou Muza of Melbourne, Fla.; brother, Benjamin Rogerson of Norfolk, Va.; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home and at other times the family will be at John Albert and Faye Williams, 2302 Race Track Road, Robersonville.

Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Lifebuilders Church of God.

Arrangements are being handled by Biggs Funeral Home, Williamston.
