FREMONT -- Sarah Willis Bradshaw, 207 Carrboro Road, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church, 610 Mount Carmel Church Road, Pikeville. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall and other times at the home. The Rev. David Hollowell will officiate. Interment will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Elmwood Cemetery, 400 Vance St., Fremont.

Surviving is her husband, Larry Bradshaw; a son, Kevin P. Effler and his wife, Janine; and her grandchildren, Alexis and Jacob of Goldsboro; her mother, Gladys Cox Willis of Fremont; an uncle, Clifton Cox and his wife, Connie, of Brunson, S.C.; two cousins, Catherine C. Bozard and her husband, Kenny, and their son, Kyle, all of Brunson, S.C.; Cheryll Hamm and her husband, Art, and their son, Ryon, of Summerville, S.C.; and also a host of special friends and her special pet dog, Millie.

Sarah was born in Morehead City, N.C., and was preceded in death by her father, Curtis F. Willis, and a son. Sarah was a dental hygienist at O'Berry Center for 27 years and was an avid bowler for a number of years.
