WALTER L. HARDISON

GREYSLAKE, ILL. -- Master Sgt. Walter L. Hardison, Retired U.S. Army, 77, died Saturday. Walter was born in Wayne County to the late Perry and Lizzie Hardison.
He is survived by his wife, Carmie Hardison; his children, Marilyn Balance, Bobby Hardison, Paula Carson and Larry Hardison; eight grandchildren; his brother, the Rev. Willard Hardison and wife, Shirley, of Goldsboro; and his sister, Linda Lanier and husband, Baris, of Burgaw.
Memorial services will be held at a later date in Greyslake, Ill.
Arrangements are announced by Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Goldsboro, N.C.
