David Trail, 77, of 115 New Hope Road, left us to be with the Lord on Resurrection Sunday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
David was born in Randleman, N.C., to the late Mr. and Mrs. David Martin Trail. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joy Howell and the Rev. Glenn Everett officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara B. Trail; his children, Jess Sessoms and wife, Mary, of Jacksonville, Fla., Lee "Sim" Johnson and husband, Howard, Mike Trail and wife, Tammy, Mark Trail and wife, Pat, all of Goldsboro, Jody Trail and special friend, Phyllis Villalobos, of Fort Worth, Texas, Amy Carey and husband, Chad, of Goldsboro; and eight grandchildren, Karrie Johnson, Trey Johnson, Matthew Trail, Josh McDaniel, Hannah Sessoms, Katie Carey, Jacob Carey and Thomas Sessoms.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
