Funeral services for James Edward Gray Sr., will be held at noon on Saturday at Rockford Chapel F.W.B. Church, Seven Springs, with Elder Johnnie Wade officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Annie T. Gray of the home; one son, James Jr. of Augusta, Ga.; two daughters, Sandra Gray-Raiford of Goldsboro, Cathy Gray-Williams of Charlotte, N.C.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Irene Kinsey and Eleanor Jones of LaGrange, N.C.; three brothers, Willie Jr. of LaGrange, Herbert of Goldsboro, Oscar of Upper Marlboro, Md.; three foster children, Julius Hobbs of Charlotte, N.C., Joseph and Nancy Hobbs of Los Angeles, Calif.; and a host of family and friends.
Family will receive friends at an inspirational service Friday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel, Goldsboro.
