John Lee Sheppard, 77, of 303 Hollowell St., died Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Four children survive.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries, Goldsboro. Pastor Edmond Earl Edwards will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Goldsboro. Viewing will be 2-6 p.m. today at the funeral home with the family receiving prior to service Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. The family will assemble at 203 Timber Hollow Drive, Dudley, in preparation for the funeral procession.
