GRANT ALLEN WILLIAMS
Grant Allen Williams, 20, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home in Goldsboro with visitation afterward. Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at Oakdale Cemetery in Washington, N.C.
Grant was born in Solano County, Calif., on Nov. 12, 1987, to Keith Allen Williams and Vicki Williams-Underwood. He was a 2006 graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School. Grant had just finished taking his placement exam with the U.S. Army. He was currently employed with Clean Sweep Lawn Care.
Grant leaves his memory to his mother, Vicki Williams-Underwood and her husband, Tom, of Goldsboro; his father, Keith Williams and his wife, Mary Beth, of Washington, N.C.; two sisters, Kaitlyn M. Williams of Washington, N.C., and Cheryl Koger of Goldsboro; one stepbrother, Stuart Sorrell of Washington, N.C.
He was preceded in death by his maternal step-grandfather, Jack Weiler.
