Anna Rakar Nezballa, 95, of Lilly, Pa., died Friday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center of Goldsboro with her family by her side.

Anna was born Aug. 12, 1912 in Houtzdale, Pa. to the late Andrew and Mary Fikis Rakar. Anna lived in Lilly, Pa. since the 1920's. She was a homemaker and loved her family, gardening, crocheting, cooking and her dogs. She was a lifelong and faithful member of Our Lady of the Alleghenies Catholic Church in Lilly, Pa. She attended St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Goldsboro, N.C., while living here with her daughter and son-in-law.

She is survived by her daughter, Monica Rollins and husband, James T. Rollins, of Goldsboro; son, Philip J. Nezballa and wife, Janice, of Londonderry, New Hampshire; grandchildren, Christopher Rollins and wife, Andrea, of Graham, Jeffrey Rollins and wife, Monica, of Gainesville, Fla., Richard Rollins and wife, Kathryn, of Goldsboro, Lisa Rollins of Houston, Texas, Douglas Rollins and wife, Michelle, of Washington, Pa., Eric Rollins and wife, Stephanie, of Raleigh, Nicole Gould and husband, Jeremy, of Wake Forest, Kimberly Boyle and husband, Michael, of Hookset, N.H., Mark Nezballa of Findley Lake, N.Y., Allison Nezballa of Manchester, N.H.; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Nezballa was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew J. Nezballa; son, Andrew J. Nezballa Jr.; brothers, Michael, George, John, and Joseph; sister, Margaret, grandson, Russell Rollins, and two great-grandchildren, Margaret and Scotty Boyle.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 1000 N. Jefferson Ave., Goldsboro, N.C. 27530.

Burial will be in Lilly, Pa., at a later date with the arrangements being handled by Cloherty Funeral Home, Lilly. Local arrangements by Seymour Funeral Home.
