Courtney Dickerson, 81, of 1407 North Drive, died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. She is the widow of Ezekiel Dickerson Jr.
The service of triumph will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Zion Seventh Day Adventist Church in Parkstown with the Rev. Donovan Washington officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Turner Swamp Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Eureka.
In bereavement she leaves her daughters, Hedy Reid and husband, John, of Goldsboro, Sarah Johnson and husband, Courtney, of Havre De Grace, Md.; son, Billy Dickerson of Gasburg, Va.; brothers, Hubert Hinnant of Petersburg, Fla., Henry Peacock of Los Angeles, Calif., Johnnie Hinnant of Washington, D.C.; sisters, Gertrude Crooms of Goldsboro, Sarah Robertson of Ettrick, Va., Ella Nadine Baskerville of Petersburg, Va.; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2-8:30 p.m. Friday with the family present to receive friends from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries.
