LAGRANGE -- Dennis Craig Rose, 54, of 6113 Little Wiggins Road, died Saturday at his home. Dennis was born in Wayne County to the late Archie Dees Rose and Marjorie Marie Walston Rose. A lifelong lover of trucks and trucking, Dennis was the owner of P&D Trucking. He was a member of Garris Chapel United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by a brother, Wayland Rose.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008, at 11 a.m. from Rouse Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, LaGrange.
A loving husband, father and grandfather, Dennis is survived by his wife of 36 years, Pam Wiggins Rose; three daughters, Sonya Moody and husband, Jonathan, of Rose Hill, Dawn Rogers and husband, Jackie, of LaGrange, Amanda Waters and husband, Clifton, of Winterville; six grandchildren, Katlyn Moody, McKenna Moody, Samantha Moody, Drew Rogers, Carson Rogers and Taylin Waters; sister, Gail Howell of Goldsboro; mother-in-law, Dell Wiggins of LaGrange; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Maria Wiggins of LaGrange.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rousefh.com.
