DEBRA C. RICE

Debra Clague Rice, 48, of 125 Bett Drive, died Thursday. Born in Perry, Fla., she was the daughter of the late Earl and Rachel Linton Clague. Debra was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, a former member of the Eastern Star and a Girl Scout and Cub Scout Leader.

Memorial services were held Monday at 10 a.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Jack Sauls officiated.

Mrs. Rice is survived by her husband, David K. Rice; two sons, David A. Rice of the home, Travis Albritton of Perry, Fla.; three daughters, Aimee Millinor of Perry, Fla., Jennifer C. Paulk, of Twentynine Palms, Calif., Heather Rice of the home; four brothers, Denny Painter of Perry, Fla., Ed Clague of Perry, Fla., Allen Clague of Jacksonville, Fla., Franklin Hendry Jr. of Perry, Fla.; one sister, Faye Hendry of Perry, Fla.; and three grandchildren, Haley, Meghan and Gabi Paulk.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the Elroy Volunteer Fire Department, 4755 U.S. Highway 70 East, Goldsboro, N.C. 27534 or to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
