Johnnie Butler of 604 S. Claiborne St., died Thursday at 6:15 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
He leaves to cherish his memory a devoted and caring daughter, Sandra Butler; grandson, Eric Butler, of the home; three loving daughters and a son-in-law, Johnice Jackson of Goldsboro, Doreatha and Donald Austin of Goldsboro and Gladys Broke of Raleigh; a son and daughter-in-law, Leroy and Jackie Butler of Clinton, Md.; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins. Also surviving are a good friend and former WAGES assisted living companion, Mr. Carline Wadford; and a host of friends.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008, at Wayne Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Monday with the family present from 5-6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries, 900 S. Geroge St., Goldsboro.
