Walter Timothy Williams Sr., 59, 3995 Central Heights Road, died Sunday at his son's residence.
Graveside services with military honors will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, 3888 Highway 70 West, with the Rev. Jackie Ham officiating.
He is survived by a son, Tim Williams and wife, Katie, of Goldsboro; a daughter, Andrea Renee Williams of Asheboro; three brothers, Mike Williams and his wife, Pat, of Wrightsville Beach, Chris Williams of Greenville and Tom Williams of Durham; three sisters, Mary Mason and Alice Byrd, both of Durham, and Susan Jackson of Rosewood; four grandchildren, Allan Best, Nicholas Person, Cheyenne Parker and Alanya Williams.
He was a native of Wayne County and the son of the late Jean Perry Williams and George Michael Williams. He served his country in the U.S. Army.
Family will receive friends at graveside following the service and other times at the home of Tim and Katie Williams, 109 Melodie Lane, Goldsboro.
