Julia Mae Stanley Tyndall, 88, of Kirkwood Retirement Community, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Tyndall was born in Wayne County to the late Tom and Myrtie Wiggins Stanley. She was wife of the late Walter Tyndall Jr. and was a member of Victory Free Will Baptist Church. She had worked as a private duty sitter and was a former volunteer with Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services were held Friday, Jan. 11, 2008 at 4 p.m. from Fairview Cemetery with the Revs. Fred Crank and George Lee officiating.
Mrs. Tyndall is survived by three children, Janice Marie Tyndall of Walstonburg, Linda Gray and husband, Eugene of Goldsboro, Donald Ray Tyndall of Goldsboro; five grandchildren and grandchildren-in-law, Robbie Reeves, Walt and Pam Tyndall, Ricky Gray, Tracy and Rhonda Gray, Dawn and Danny Norris; nine great-grandchildren, Brooke, Jacob, Mckenzie, Adam, Chelsea, Jamie, Ray, Shawn and Brandon; one great-great grandchild, Olivia.
Memorials may be made to Victory Free Will Baptist Church, 1806 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C. 27534. Arrangements were with Rouse Funeral Home, LaGrange.
