ESTEEN OUTLAW QUINN

KENANSVILLE -- Esteen Outlaw Quinn, 90, died early Saturday morning.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday at Kenansville Baptist Church. Officiating will be Dr. Mike Thompson, and the Revs. Bud Quinn, and Angie Partin, with the eulogy being given by Millie I. Brown. Interment will follow in Devotional Gardens, Warsaw. The family will receive friends at Tyndall Funeral Home today from 4 until 6 p.m.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Hines Quinn; their son, William Hines "Bill" Quinn; her parents, Arthur and Martha Harrell Outlaw; two brothers, Henry Outlaw and Roy Outlaw; and two sisters, Pauline O. Goodman and Katherine O. Goodson. She was a long-time member of Kenansville Baptist Church where she was very active for as long as her health permitted. She was a retired case worker with the Duplin County Department of Social Services.

Mrs. Quinn is survived by her daughter-in-law, Sylvia Quinn Hawes and her husband, George Hawes of Rose Hill (lovingly referred to as "daughter and son-in-law" by Mrs. Quinn); a grandson, William Hines Quinn Jr. of Kenansville; a great-grandson, William Hines "Will" Quinn III of Kenansville; a sister, Ila Mae O. (Mrs. Thurman) Davis of Mount Olive; a brother and sister-in-law, Woodrow and Ruth Outlaw of Kenansville; many special nieces and nephews, along with many dear friends.
