FAISON -- Hazel Taylor Kennedy, 94, long-time resident of Faison, died Tuesday night at Britthaven of Goldsboro.
Services will be at Faison Baptist Church on Friday at 3 p.m. with the Rev. J. Paul Rose officiating. Interment will follow in the Faison Ceme-tery. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall for one hour prior to the service.
She was a long-time employee of Chas. F. Cates and Son Pickle Co. with 32 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy B. Kennedy; her parents, Charles B. and Mary Miller Taylor; two brothers, C.B. Taylor and Fulton Taylor; and five sisters, Katherine King, Grace Armstrong, Rita Taylor, Edna Hofman and Pheoria Andrews.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Dannie Kennedy of Faison; three daughters and sons-in-law, Terry K. and Nick Columbus of Goldsboro, Randy K. and Bobby Holland of Mount Olive, Pat and Joe Mirello of Dunn; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
