DUNN -- James Edward Johnson, Sr., 66, of Magnolia Apartments, died Tuesday at Betsy Johnson Hospital. Mr. Johnson was born in Wayne County the son of the late William E. and Mildred Westbrook Johnson. He is also preceded in death by a daughter, Dora Lynn Johnson; brothers, Terry Glenn Johnson and Charlie C. Johnson.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.
He is survived by two sons, James Edward Johnson Jr. and wife, Melissa, of Danville, Va., Robert Wayne Johnson of Providence, N.C.; a daughter, Carol J. Schivley and husband, Richard, of Blanch, N.C.; three brothers, William E. Johnson Jr. and Lawrence Johnson, both of Goldsboro, N.C., Zeb Johnson of Grantham, N.C.; two grandchildren, Austin Schivley and Jordan Johnson.
