MOUNT OLIVE -- Leonell Durham Carter, of 200 Cox Pond Road, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Goldsboro. She was the daughter of the late Leon and Blanch Wise Durham.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007, at 1 p.m. at the Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 911 Thunder Swamp Road, Mount Olive. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the Durham Family Cemetery in Mount Olive.
She is survived by her husband, Ester Lee Carter of Mount Olive; daughter, Ronda A. Carter of Mount Olive; brothers, Arnold Durham and wife, Edna, of Goldsboro, Larry Durham Sr. and wife, Scarlett, of Dudley, Quinton Durham of Raleigh; sisters, Claranette Broadnax and husband, Jesse, of Raleigh, Mary Ann Musgrave and husband, Robert, of Mount Olive; grandson, Khalid Murshid-Carter of Philadelphia, Pa.; and granddaughter, Samaiyah V. Edwards of Mount Olive.
