Funeral services for Ethel King, 52, of 208 W. Seymour Drive, is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 21, 2007, at 12 noon at the Alpha and Omega Christian Center, Goldsboro, N.C. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Pastor Frank Dawson will deliver the eulogy.

Mrs. King was preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Dixon Ford.

Mrs. King leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Edward B. King; seven children, Antwanette C. Davis and husband, Thermez, Lakisha D. Cox, Katina R. Cox, Edward B. King and wife, Maqita, William E. King, Christopher L. King and Lamar R. King; her father, Earl Franklin Ford; four sisters, Edna Ford, Doris A. Ford, Seresia F. Davis and husband, Stanley, all of Goldsboro, Sharon F. White and husband, Earl, of Atlanta, Ga.; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007, from 2 to 6 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries. Any condolences may be faxed to 919-731-4338 or e-mailed to mcintyrefuneralhomeministries@yahoo.com.

The family will be receiving friends at other times at 1211 Franklin St., Goldsboro.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Marshall and the staff of Southeastern Oncology, UNC Chapel Hill Hospital and the Kitty Askins Hospice Center Staff.
