MARGARET BASS ROSE

Margaret Bass Rose, 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday morning at Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston.

Margaret was born in Wayne County on April 13, 1918 to the late Claude Bass and Lona Westbrook Bass. She was married to the late Hubert Rose.

Margaret had worked as a newspaper carrier for the Goldsboro News-Argus for many years and was a member of Antioch Free Will Baptist Church.

Funeral will be 4 p.m. Sunday at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Sherman Dilley and Dale Belvin officiating. Interment will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.

Margaret is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Cathy R. and Kenny Harrison, Betsy and Dick Read, and Annette and Donald Radford, all of Goldsboro; 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Joe C. Rose.

The family will receive friends Sunday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of Kenny and Cathy Harrison, 200 N. Cottonwood Drive, Goldsboro.
