WARSAW -- Bruce Hobart Rowlands Jr., 49, of 2248 West Ward's Bridge Road, died Wednesday night at his residence.

He was owner and operator of Pizza Village of Warsaw.

Funeral will be held today at 5 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive. Elder Phil Faucette and Elder Nolan Wiggins will officiate, and visitation will follow the service. Committal and burial will be on Monday at 11 a.m. at the Norbert Ezzell Family Cemetery at the residence.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Michell Ezzell Rowlands, and their son, Wesley Tyler Rowlands, both of the home; his mother, Sue M. Rowlands of Warsaw; his father, Bruce H. Rowlands Sr. of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; a sister, Deborah R. Palmer of Havelock, along with nephew, Ryan and niece, Melissa and great-niece, Olivia; another sister, Shawn R. Ware of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., along with nephew, Jamison, and niece, Jessica; his father-in-law, Norbert J. "Pa" Ezzell of Albertson; a sister-in-law, Tammy E. Abercrombie and husband, Bill of South River, NC; a brother-in-law, Jacob Ezzell and wife, Lisa of Warsaw, along with nephews, Eric, Ash, and Shannon; another sister-in-law, Sheila Ezzell of Goldsboro; his extended family to include Lois Hobson of Mount Olive, Herman, Pam, and Ashley Futrell, all of Warsaw, Sherry E. Hawley and Mitchell Davis of Mount Olive, Burgus and Gladys Ezzell and Johnny Ezzell, all of Mount Olive; many friends, and the devoted staff of Pizza Village of Warsaw.

Mother-in-law, Brenda D. Ezzell, preceded Bruce in death.

When not at the funeral home, friends and family will be received at the residence.
