GRIFTON -- Leon Best, 66, of 6646 Skeeter Pond Road, formerly of Parkstown, died Tuesday.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Mount Zion Seventh Day Adventist Church with Elder Zephaniah Jackson officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Old Mill Cemetery.
Loving memories will be cherished by his daughters, Cuttora B. Williams and Sharon Best, both of Grifton; sisters, Shirley B. Perry of Goldsboro and Lula B. Askew of Garner; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday with the family present to receive friends from 5 until 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries, Goldsboro.
