DOROTHY K. TAYLOR
Dorothy Keever Taylor, 86, of Sandhill Drive, went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday morning, Nov. 26, 2007, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro with the Rev. Larry Bostian officiating. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Taylor was born in Burke County on April 9, 1921. She was a charter member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church in Goldsboro and a member of Love Memorial Baptist Church in the Mar Mac Community.
She is survived by one son, Fred Taylor Jr. of Goldsboro; one daughter, Nancy Taylor Harris and her husband, Rex, of Goldsboro; and special friends, Wallace and Ramona Horton of Mount Olive.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Taylor; and three brothers, S.E. "Tucker" Keever, Vernon Keever and Earl Keever.
The family will receive friends following the service at Howell Funeral Home on Wednesday evening.
