JOHN H. ANDERSON

John Henry Anderson, 72, went to be with his Lord on Saturday at the Brunswick Community Hospital. Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late William M. and Lillie Holloman Anderson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was a radio announcer.
Funeral services were held Monday at 1 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the Rev. Johnny Sasser officiating. Burial will follow in the Anderson-Holloman Cemetery.
Mr. Anderson is survived by a dear companion, Dianne Gattis of Shallotte; a brother, Willard Anderson of Dudley; two sisters, Katie Holloman of Bladenboro, Carol A. Menley of Goldsboro; a life long friend, D.T. Grantham of Goldsboro; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family greeted friends one hour prior to the service at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and at other times at 1491 O'Berry Road, Dudley.
