WANDA CASEY BJORK

June 28, 1952-Nov. 22, 2007

Wanda Casey Bjork, 55, of 109 Sedgefield Drive, passed away peacefully Thursday evening at Kitty Askins Hospice Center with her family at her side.

Mrs. Bjork was born June 28, 1952, in Wake County and was the daughter of Lou Wilson Casey and the late Willis Frederick Casey. In addition to her father she was also preceded in death by a son William Garret Bjork. She was a member of First Christian Disciples of Christ Church which provided a dedicated and loving church family. She was also a member of the Goldsboro Singles Club. Before her illness, she had been a nurse with Home Health and Hospice. Wanda was a caring and giving person to many through the years providing comfort and spiritual guidance to many.

Funeral will be held at 5 p.m. on Sunday from the Chapel of Casey Funeral Home in Princeton. The family will begin receiving friends at 3:30 and will continue to greet friends and family after the service. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of her mother at 1636 Old Hinton Road, Princeton. Private committal and burial will follow on Monday in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

She is survived by her loving mother, Lou Wilson Casey; and devoted children and children-in-law, Heather Bjork and Robert Hill of Clinton, Jennifer Bjork and Chris Moore of Apex, and James Tanner Bjork of LaGrange; sisters, Karen Casey Evans and Sherri Casey Edwards, both of Princeton; a brother Rodney Willis Casey of Princeton; and two grandchildren, Tyler Moore and Hayden Hill.
