JAMES ARIC BAKER

BURGAW -- James Aric Baker, 36, formerly of Mount Olive died Thursday in Pender County. He was born in Sanford, the son of Verlyn Fulghum Baker of Fremont and the late Austin James Baker Jr.

Aric was employed with Burgaw Veterinary Hospital. He loved and took care of all of his family and was greatly loved in return. Aric will be missed more than words can express.

In addition to his mother, Aric is survived by his sisters, Pammela S. Baker and her husband, Darryl Pinner, of Burgaw, and Dr. Stephanie V. Baker of Burgaw; nieces and nephews, Ella, Adam, Sam, Eli, Noah and Caj; grandmothers, Doris Ellis of Mount Olive and John D. Baker of High Point; aunt, Judy Fuller of Mount Olive; uncle, David Fulghum and his wife, Donna, of Mount Olive; and cousins, Henry, Mort, Jody, Scott and George.

A celebration of Aric's life and time of sharing was at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at Burgaw Veterinary Hospital, 1255 U.S. Highway 117 N., Burgaw, with the Rev. Dean Walker conducting the service.
