OLGA MURPHY IVEY

Olga Murphy Ivey, 74, of Hunters Creek Drive, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Olga was born in Greene County to the late Elijah Murphy and Dora Williams Murphy. She had formerly lived in both Raleigh and Louisburg and had re-tired from First Citizens Bank with over 20 years of service. Olga was a member of New Hope United Metho-dist Church in Goldsboro.

A service to celebrate Olga's life will be held Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2007, at 2 p.m. at New Hope United Methodist Church with the Rev. Martin Armstrong officiating.

Olga is survived by her husband of 56 years, James L. Ivey; her daughters, Dawn Ivey d'Hemecourt and her husband, Kerry, of Goldsboro and Delle Ivey of Holly Springs; her granddaughter, Amelia Webb of Apex; and her grandson, Dustin d'Hemecourt and his wife, Cherie, of Fayetteville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Dean Ivey Webb.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to the Building Fund at New Hope United Methodist Church, 200 E. New Hope Road, Goldsboro, N.C. 27534.

The family will receive friends Wednesday following the service at the church.

Arrangements are with Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
