MARY ALICE EDWARDS

ALBERTSON -- Mary Alice Outlaw Edwards, 68, of 135 Outlaw's Bridge Road, died Wednesday afternoon at her home.

Services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive with the Rev. Mark Hobbs officiating. Burial will be in the Outlaw Family Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday for one hour prior to the service and at other times her family will be at her home.

She was a member of Snow Hill Free Will Baptist Church and will be remembered as being a long-time cook with employment at the former Leo's Grill and Seafood.

Surviving are her son, Donnie Franklin "D.F." Barton Jr. of Albertson; daughters, Tammy Jo Barton Rojas of Albertson, Candy Edwards of Seven Springs and Millie Edwards of Goldsboro; a brother, Linwood Maurice "Skint" Outlaw of Mount Olive; six sisters, Edna Doris O. Gadberry of Midlothian, Va., Ernestine O. Hudson and Reba Jean O. Jones, both of Albertson, Joyce Evelyn O. Hinson of Mount Olive, Lila Mae O. Price of Surf City, Jo Ann O. Kornegay of Mount Olive; 12 grandchildren; a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alonza F. "Lonnie" and Alice Outlaw; a son, George Dean Barton; and a sister, Virginia O. Mc-Naughton.
