Reva Maxine Carr Davis, 64, of 1519 Beautancus Road, died Thursday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital. She was born in Shady Springs, W.Va., to Christine Lilly and the late Arthur L. Carr and was the wife of Douglas "Sam" Davis.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by six sons and four daughters-in-law, Lenny Birchfield and wife, Juanita, of Colorado Springs, Colo., Kenny Birchfield and wife, Iris, of Peru, Ind., Dennis Birchfield of Calypso, N.C., Douglas Davis Jr. of LaGrange, N.C., Clay Davis and wife, Christa, of Calypso, N.C., and Craig Davis and wife, Kellie, of Goldsboro, N.C.; and grandchildren, Lee and Justin Davis, both of Dudley, N.C., Jonathan, Sammy, and Kendall Birchfield, all of Peru, Ind.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Mount Olive First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
In lieu of flowers donations should be directed to the American Cancer Society or Relay for Life.
