Inez G. Carmichael, 83, of 1405 Poplar St., Apt. 24, departed this earthly life Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by three children, Mary Carmichael, Joyce Beckham and John Carmichael; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; seven sisters; one brother; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007, at 2 p.m. at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 601 W. Elm St., Goldsboro, N.C., with the Dr. C. R. Lee presiding. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St., Goldsboro, N.C. Also, a wake will be conducted, Wednesday evening, Oct. 10, 2007, at Hamilton Funeral Chapel from 7 to 8 p.m. with the family present to receive friends and other family members.
