Viola Colwell Richardson, 86, died on Thursday. She is the daughter of the late Walter and Nora Banks Colwell. She was a retired federal employee, and was a member of the Tucson Baptist Temple in Tucson, Ariz.
A graveside service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with the Rev. Bryan Crumpler officiating. The family will receive friends this evening from 7 to 9 at the residence of her daughter, Barbara Crumpler, at 2705 Northwood Drive, Goldsboro.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and David Crumpler of Goldsboro; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Bryan and Sandra Crumpler, and their children, Natalie and Alexandra Crumpler; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Karen and John Huffman, and their children, Tyler and Jeremy Huffman; three brothers; and two sisters.
