NORFOLK, Va. -- Charlie Houpe Jr., 77, formerly of Goldsboro, died Wednesday at DePaul Medical Center in Norfolk. He was born in Wayne County to the late Charlie and Hattie Houpe and was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine.
Five children survive.
Funeral was 1 p.m. Saturday at Graves Funeral Home, Norfolk, Va.
