DUDLEY -- Jeanne Marie Gerbe Lovelace, 82, of 2016 Emmaus Church Road, died Tuesday at Sunbridge Care in Mount Olive. Born in Vauche Loire, France, she was the daughter of the late Jean Baptiste and Maria Bonnabaud Gerbe. She attended the Goldsboro Worship Center.
Funeral services will be held Thursday evening at 7 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Johnson officiating. Graveside services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Lovelace is survived by her husband, James A. Lovelace; a daughter, Dominique Marie Sullivan of Dudley, N.C.; two sons, Douglas Edward Lovelace and Jimmy Lovelace, both of Dudley, N.C.; a sister, Marcelle Boudier of Vichy, France; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Family members will greet friends Thursday evening immediately following the service and at other times will be at the home of Al and Dominique Sullivan, 102 Fox Court, Dudley, N.C. 28333.
