John Henry Hinnant, 56, 909 Lexington Ave., died Tuesday at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Fayetteville.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Hooks Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnnie Sherrod officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Mill Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Lillie Hinnant of the home; daughters, Tangie Renee Hinnant and Tiffany Denise Hinnant, both of Goldsboro; son, Travis LaMont Hinnant of Goldsboro; mother, Catherine Ward Hinnant of Goldsboro; sisters and brothers, Shirley Robinson, Ida Jones, Betty Wilcox, Alchester Hinnant and James Hinnant; eight grandchildren.
Viewing will be 2-7 p.m. Saturday with the family present to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro.
