Otwell Earl Tippett, 89, passed away Monday, Sept. 3, 2007. He was born Nov. 3, 1917 to the late Otwell Francis and Malita Pate Tippett. Also preceding him in death, his stepson, Paul Harrell.
Earl was a Mason and a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007, at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Jerry L. Braziel officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Committal service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007, at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
Left to cherish his memory, his wife, Bonnie Tippett; grandchildren, Michael Harrell and wife, Angie, Paula Taylor and husband, Tim; great-grandchildren, Lauren Taylor, Katherine Taylor, Jacob Harrell, Lindsey Weaver and Noah Harrell; great-great-grandson, Braxton Everett; sister, Hazel Kelly.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Children's Home in Middlesex, P. O. Box 249, Middlesex, N.C. 27557.
