PHILLIP M. GILBERT
Phillip Michael Gilbert, 48, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2007 at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 5 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro with visitation afterward. Entombment services will be announced at a later date.
Mr. Gilbert was born in Portsmouth, Va. on March 11, 1959 to the late Phillip Thomas Gilbert and Doris M. Stancil Gilbert. He was employed as a foreman with Barnes and Powell Electrical Company in Elm City.
He is survived by his daughter, Sebrina Hart of Goldsboro; a god-son, Corey Stuckey of Goldsboro; two brothers, Richard "Pete" Gilbert and his wife, Ramona, of Elizabeth City and Fred Gilbert and his wife, Janice, of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
