GRACE D. BRAXTON

Grace Dawson Braxton, 79, died Friday, Aug. 17, at the Brian Center of Wilson.
Funeral will be held Monday at 7 p.m. from the chapel of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Eureka Cemetery.
Mrs. Braxton was a retired nurse from Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by a son, Henry Milton Braxton Jr. of Kenly; a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie Braxton and Gary Bell of Stantonsburg; two sisters, Helen White of Greenville and Virginia Chase of Eureka; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Milton Braxton Sr.
The family will receive friends Monday evening following the funeral and other times at 827 Dawson Road in Stantonsburg.
