Delorise C. Cole, 67, formerly of Goldsboro, died at her residence in Gastonia on Thursday evening from a lingering illness. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Maybelle Caison, and the wife of the late John Cole.
Funeral will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia. Burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by a son, John Cole; a daughter and son-in-law, Lynda and John Sanderson; a sister and brother-in-law, Shelby and Dexton Mozingo; and several nieces and nephews.
