LESLIE E. JOYNER

LaGRANGE -- Leslie Earl Joyner, 67, of 301 S. Caswell St., died Friday, July 27, 2007 at Lenoir Memorial Hospital. Mr. Joyner was born in Greene County to Lizzie Norris Joyner, and the late Hebrew Joyner. Mr. Joyner worked with Case Farms. He was a member of the Eastern Carolina Mustang Club, the Moose Lodge, and served with the Army National Guard.

Funeralwill be held at 6 p.m. Sunday from Rouse Funeral Home with the Rev. Crystal McCullen officiating. Interment services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday from the Snow Hill Cemetery.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Joyner is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Tania Joyner of Wayne, N.J.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruby and Lenwood Perry of LaGrange, Marie and Phillip Hinnant of Rocky Mount, Vickie and G.T. Wells of Falkland; brothers and sisters-in-law, J.W. and Sue Joyner of Rocky Mount, Harry and Elaine Joyner of Maury, Donald and Teresa Joyner Hookerton, and a special friend, Donna Williford of LaGrange. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Gianna, Gabriella and Danielle Joyner of Wayne, N.J.

The family will receive friends following the service Sunday, and other times at the home. Funeral arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home, LaGrange.
