IRENE D. NUNN

LaGRANGE -- Irene Davis Nunn, 97, of LaGrange, died Friday, July 27, 2007 at Britthaven of Kinston. Mrs. Nunn was born in Lenoir County to the late William and Effie Hardy Davis. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Paul Washington Jones and Collier Nunn. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and had a great love of gardening and flowers.
Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Rouse Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Patricia Thomas and Pastor Vito Bisogno officiating. Burial will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Nunn is survived by a daughter, Paula Garris of LaGrange; granddaughter, Johnna Garris of LaGrange; two stepchildren, Robert H. "Bobby" Nunn of Hillard, Fla. and Carol Sugg of Kinston; five stepgrandchildren, four stepgreat-grandchildren and one stepgreat-great-grandchild; along with several special nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Rouse Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the home of Paula and Johnna Garris, 606C Firetower Road, LaGrange.
